Diet
Children can generally return to a normal diet shortly after treatment. However, it is sensible to limit very sticky foods such as: Toffee and Sticky lollies.
These foods can occasionally dislodge any dental restoration.
Will the Crown Affect the Adult Tooth?
No. The stainless-steel crown simply sits over the baby tooth. It does not interfere with the development or eruption of the permanent tooth underneath. When the baby tooth eventually becomes loose and falls out naturally, the crown comes out attached to the tooth.
What About Appearance ?

Many children actually enjoy their new “robot tooth”, “silver tooth” or “princess crown". Others prefer a more natural appearance.
