About Us
Husband and wife team Willem and Aninke opened their first Yamba practice in 2015 followed by their own Grafton practice at the end of 2016. Both these practices are family owned and managed since their inception. They were drawn by the area's charm and close-knit community.
Originally from South Africa, their dental careers began there before relocating to Australia in 2009. After working in South Australia, they made the Clarence Valley their home. They swiftly passed their Australian Dental Exams, confirming their qualifications meet high Australian standards.
Both enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in pediatric care, special needs, and complex rehabilitation cases involving multiple specialties.

Well, Dr. Willem and Dr. Aninke originate from the wilds of South Africa, and they wanted an African touch to reflect their roots. Enter the zebra—our chosen mascot that sets us apart and embodies the vibrant, fun-loving atmosphere we bring to our patients every single day! Think of it as our stripe-tastic symbol of family-friendly, feel-good spirit!
Caring for the next generation
Dr. Annie aspires to leave a meaningful mark for the next generation in Clarence Valley. Her passion lies in providing free Oral Health Education to all, recognising its crucial role in fundamental health and well-being, regardless of age! We're revved up and eager to keep this fantastic momentum rolling in the future! Education and the right 'tools' should be a basic all patients should be equipped with!
